A little about us.

Argaty Red Kites Hardwood Logs, also known as Central Scotland Firewood, is a sustainable farm-based firewood business run from Argaty near Doune and Dunblane in Stirlingshire. From our farm, we sell seasoned hardwood and softwood logs for open fires, fireplaces, wood-burning stoves, solid fuel cookers, outdoor pizza ovens and firepits. Our logs are seasoned for around 18 months and stored in a well-ventilated shed so they are ready to burn, and for every tree harvested on the farm we plant another. Customers can collect from the Argaty Red Kite Centre or arrange local delivery by contacting us in advance.

What you’ll find

We sell seasoned hardwood logs and seasoned softwood logs in smaller bags and builder’s bags, suitable for fireplaces, wood-burning stoves, cookers, pizza ovens and firepits. We also offer local delivery for a small charge and collection from the Argaty Red Kite Centre by prior arrangement.

Please call or email a few days ahead to order logs for collection or local delivery. Please do not turn up unannounced, as the red kite project and farm work mean there may not always be someone available to help.
