A little about us.
The time has come for us to swing open our doors and welcome you in! After two years of work behind the scenes, Arkleston Farmshop & Kitchen is ready to bring something new to Paisley. At our farmshop, we are committed to bringing you the best of Scotland’s local produce – fresh, seasonal, and sustainable. Whether you’re after fresh fruits and vegetables, high-quality meats, dairy, or a range of locally made artisanal products, our farmshop will have it all. We believe in supporting local farmers and producers, so the majority of products you find on our shelves will tell a story of the land, the people, and the passion behind it. Our shop is open 7 days a week from 9am-5pm while our café is open from 9am to 4pm. We serve breakfast until 11am and lunch from 11.30am until 3pm. Our butcher is open 9am to 4pm from Thursday until Tuesday.

Nip over to the café and enjoy delicious food and drinks. Taste something you are in love with? We stock our café with products that can be found in the shop, feel free to ask about your meal and pickup the ingredients on your way back through the shop!

ProducersAshlyn's Farm Shop
Ashlyns Farm Shop is a farm shop and restaurant based on Epping Road in North Weald, Essex. The farm shop focuses on fresh, seasonal food and quality produce from small and local suppliers, with a strong range of everyday essentials and more special items for the larder. Visitors can shop for fresh fruit and vegetables, grass-fed beef from the onsite butcher, free-range pork, lamb, organic chicken, British and European cheeses from the deli counter, locally brewed craft beer, groceries, chutneys, pies, pastries and homemade deli favourites. The onsite butcher can prepare cuts of meat to order and offer advice, while the deli includes cheeses, homemade scotch eggs, sausage rolls, ham, pies and other savoury treats. Alongside the shop, Ashlyns also has a restaurant overlooking the garden, serving breakfast, lunch, brunch, coffee and cake, with dishes freshly prepared using seasonal ingredients from local suppliers where possible. The site also runs events and has a welcoming farm shop feel, making it a good stop for local produce, quality meat, deli foods, groceries and a relaxed meal out.

ProducersAshvale Farm Shop
Ashvale Farm Shop is an award-winning, family-run farm shop and tea room nestled in the Bailliesmills countryside near Lisburn, Co. Down. Owned by the Herron family, the business offers a welcoming countryside stop for local food, homemade produce and relaxed dining. The farm shop stocks a wide selection of local agri-food and farm-based produce, working with artisan suppliers such as Abernethy Butter, Armagh Cider Company, Broighter Rapeseed Oil, Clandeboye Estate Yoghurt, Erin Grove Preserves, Filligans, Johnsons Coffee, Kennedy Bacon and other local producers. Their fresh produce is locally sourced where possible, with examples including honey from Hillsborough, free-range eggs and duck eggs from Crossgar, tomatoes from Drumbo and potatoes from Comber. Ashvale also makes and sells its own homemade produce prepared on the premises, including daily baked breads, homemade pies, meals, desserts, cakes and tray bakes. Alongside the farm shop, visitors can enjoy the Tea Room & Orangery, which serves breakfast, lunch, sweet treats, teas and coffees, as well as bookable afternoon tea. The site also includes a ladies clothing boutique and has been linked with plans for a garden centre, making it more than just a food shop and giving visitors a few different reasons to stop by.

ProducersBailey’s Country Store
Bailey’s Country Store is a family-run country store and farm shop based in Penryn, close to Falmouth in Cornwall. The store celebrates local Cornish food and countryside living, with a farm shop stocked with fresh, locally grown, reared and baked produce from Cornwall’s farmers and makers. Their food range includes local produce, homemade cakes, soups, sandwiches and sausage rolls from their in-house kitchen, along with drinks and other farm shop goods. Alongside the food offering, Bailey’s also sells gifts, home and garden products, compost, soil enrichers, grass seed, watering cans, fuel, footwear, accessories, pet supplies, equine and donkey products, forage, bedding, animal feed and treats. It is more of a country store and local food retailer than a working farm, but it still offers a strong mix of farm shop produce, country supplies, home goods and animal care products for local customers and visitors.
