A little about us.
Attfield’s Farm Shop & Café is a local farm shop based at Lodge Farm on Countesthorpe Road in Whetstone, Leicester. Established in 1960, the business supplies locally produced and locally sourced food to customers across Whetstone and Leicestershire, with a focus on fresh, local and homegrown produce. The farm shop stocks fresh fruit and vegetables, locally farmed meats, fresh cuts from the in-house butcher, dairy products, milk, yoghurts, cheeses, cakes, confectionery, jams, preserves and eggs from their own free-range hens. Much of the produce is grown locally or on the farm, with very little travelling far to reach the shelves. Alongside the farm shop, Attfield’s also has a café serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, homemade cakes, soups, mains, salads, sausage rolls, quiches and other freshly prepared food. The site also offers pet food, animal feed, solid fuels, coal, logs, kindling and barbecue charcoal, making it a useful countryside stop for fresh food, local produce, animal supplies and home fuel.
