A little about us.
Ballycastle Farm Shop is located in picturesque Glenshesk, one of the nine Glens of Antrim just outside Ballycastle. We raise our beef, lamb and pork in Glenshesk, selecting animals for quality, flavour and leanness. Our livestock are reared with care, with diets supported by clover-rich grass and home-produced cereals, and we use natural fertilisers wherever possible. Through our farm shop and online ordering, we offer high-quality farm-reared meat for everyday meals, Sunday roasts, barbecues and special occasions, including popular Christmas favourites such as turkeys, cured hams, speciality bacons and cocktail sausages. We aim to offer a friendly, local farm shop service, with orders processed regularly and collection or delivery options available.
What you’ll find
We sell farm-reared beef, lamb and pork from Glenshesk, including steaks, mince, burgers, sausages, pork products, lamb cuts and a range of fresh meat for cooking at home. We also offer seasonal Christmas products including turkeys, cured hams, speciality bacons and cocktail sausages, with online ordering available for selected products and festive collections.

We are growers of plants, fruit and vegetables, including our delicious tomatoes that are available from April to October. We try to stock local products where possible. Welcome to Alder Carr A secret gem hidden in the Suffolk countryside, with an award-winning farm shop bursting with local, seasonal & artisan produce, including our own butchery, and deli counter, and our very own multi-award winning ice cream. Alongside the farm shop we have the Courtyard Cafe, situated in a converted oak-framed barn, where our team of chefs use the finest seasonal & local produce - including meat from our own butchery - to create delicious meals, and a fabulous range of cakes. The courtyard is also home to a range of craft & gift shops including Pettersson Pottery, the Country Studio & the Sugarcraft Studio, whilst William & Herbert vintage and antiques can be found in our very own converted windmill buck, dating back to 1796.
