Banchory Farm

A little about us.

Banchory Farm is a 700-acre working farm in the heart of Fife, Scotland, offering luxury self-catering stays in beautifully renovated farm cottages and farmhouses. We farm around 480 acres of arable land, growing oats for porridge, wheat and barley for distilling, and oilseed rape for cooking oil, alongside around 200 acres of permanent pasture where sheep and cattle graze. Our family has farmed here for generations, with the farm purchased by our grandfather in 1937, and many of our former farm workers’ cottages have now been carefully restored into boutique holiday accommodation. Guests can stay in cottages and farmhouses including The Dairy, The Grieves Farmhouse, Weavers Cottage and Drinkbetween Farmhouse, with the chance to enjoy peaceful countryside, farm views, wildlife, walks, biking routes and easy access to the Fife Coastal Path. We are passionate about sustainability and conservation, with tree planting, wild bird cover and wildlife-friendly work helping to support the farm for future generations.
