A little about us.

We are a community-owned greengrocer in Carrickfergus town centre, created to bring fresh fruit and vegetables back to the heart of Carrick. Opened in July 2023, our shop was built by local people, volunteers and supporters who wanted better access to good quality, affordable and locally grown food. We sell fresh fruit and veg from local growers where possible, alongside carefully sourced produce from further afield and a growing range of locally made goods. Our aim is to support local farmers, reduce food miles, cut waste and help make fresh, sustainable food more accessible to everyone in the community.

What you’ll find

We sell fresh fruit, vegetables, seasonal produce, veg boxes, fruit boxes, bread, locally made goods, jams, sourdough, vegan products, treats and produce grown using nature-friendly and organic methods. We work with local growers including Chris Dobbs and Jubilee Farm for selected vegetables, and our Friendly Food Club helps make climate-friendly produce more affordable for members.

How to buy

Visit our Carrickfergus shop in person to browse and buy directly, or shop online for fruit boxes, veg boxes, bread, pre-orders and selected add-ons. You can also arrange regular veg box delivery, pre-order weekend bread or order a fruit or gift basket.
