A little about us.

We have a smallholding here in Moorland, we raise native, rare breed lambs and pigs outdoors with plenty of enrichment, great health management and high welfare standards. We work hard to ensure that every day of their lives is filled with quality food, good surroundings and all they need to thrive. We breed British lop pigs with our pedigree champion winning sow. We also have a local breeder who provides us with wonderful Gloucester old spot cross Oxford sandy and black piglets regularly so we have a reliable mix of pork throughout the year. We breed and rear herdwicks, zwartbles and Suffolk crosses, Devon closewools are our next planned addition. We choose the breeds based on their ability to live well on the fields that we have, to thrive in the Somerset sun and develop well to be fabulous natural mothers

Throughout the year we have fresh and frozen lamb and pork available, pre orders always welcome so you can plan your freezer space and have the cuts you prefer. No minimum order and free local delivery Various cuts available, excellent butcher so if it can be done then it will All items vacuum packed and labeled, ready for fridge or freezer :)

How to buy

Message or call to pre order or buy, we freeze our meat the day it’s collected form the butcher unless pre ordered, so we usually have a supply when you need it.
